It's not long until The Event. I can't wait. Laura Innes is one of the stars. I love it already and I've seen only clips of bits and pieces, few interviews and reading up on the Comic-Con premiere of the pilot episode. I'm all tingles with excitement.

.:: Pride ::.

I went to my first Pride on Saturday. It was so much fun. My wife and I took our dogs...they were a big hit. The 'gays' love beagles and border terriers. Jasper and Captain Jack loved the attention...all the claps and so many people wanted to take their picture. Pity I can't find any online. We bought little pride bandana's and put them round their necks...made them look cuter than they already are.

I can't wait to go next year. The stuff going on on the stage wasn't my thing and I didn't take much notice but there were a few stalls so bought a Pride flag and a fantastic t-shirt that says

'Queer...You can't beat the feeling'

Love it. Not sure if we'll take the boys next year. We were restricted in what we could do having the boys there but I did love having them there.

Now that I can update from my mobile I'll be updating more often I'm happy to say.

Net off again for a few weeks but I'm hoping to work out how to update via my mobile. Will set it up tomorrow. Love that my mum and dad have net at theres.

.:: Should Be Working ::.

Was meant to be at work today but they can't afford to have me in on Sunday's anymore. This happened before. I don't mind...will miss the money but won't miss working on a Sunday. I think this will mean I'm not working Bank Holidays as well...again the money is good working these days but an extra day off a week I'm happy with.

When I work a Sunday I have to work a 6 day week and that's never fun. If I worked today I'd have been doing a 9 day 'week' because my holiday starts on Saturday so that's my day off this week and not my usual Wednesday. Very happy to split my 9 days up. So now I only have 5 days to work and then I'm off...sweet.

It's such sad news that Lynn Redgrave has passed away. An acting legend. She's been in so many wonderful things. R.I.P. Lynn Redgrave.

.:: Day Off ::.

I have a day off and I'm so very happy about that. I've been working so many Sunday's lately. The money is good but its great having extra time with my girl and the boys. Tomorrow is a Bank Holiday so less hours...10am to 5pm...not much less, an hour and a half or something along those lines but still should mean I get home earlier. Then I have another day off on Wednesday...yeah...but I'll have a nine day stretch after that...boo...which will lead to a two week holiday that will feature my wedding...sweet.
